Half Persian, half Irish, born in Leeds. Kourosh Kanani began a life in music at 8 years old. Moving to London in 2014 and jumping straight into the deep end of the jazz scene and Gypsy Jazz scene picking up music from everywhere and learning whatever would spark his interest.
Today he is working intensely with his own Trio, profoundly exploring Persian music, Carnatic rhythm and his Jazz and Rock background becoming what has been dubbed as one of the most exhilarating cross genre guitarists of this generation.
